As a HIL Testing & Quality Technician, you will join the growing department of HIL Systems and be part of the HIL Testing team. In the position of a HIL Testing Technician, you closely collaborate with engineering, development, and assembly teams, as well as other departments and customers.
You will ensure that our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems and electronic assemblies meet our functional and quality requirements before they reach our customers.
You will perform manual and automated testing from PCBA to complete system level, inspect electronic assemblies for manufacturing and workmanship quality, and support troubleshooting and rework when issues are identified.
Working closely with our engineering, assembly, HW development, and project teams, you will play an important role in delivering reliable, high-quality HIL test systems to our customers. Along with the testing activities, you are constantly engaged in internal improvements for automation of testing tasks.
Your Contribution:
- Execute manual and automated tests at PCBA, subsystem, and complete HIL test bench level.
- Perform end-of-line testing and document test results, deviations, and identify defects.
- Perform QA/QC inspections of PCBAs and electronic assemblies, including solder joints, component placement, connectors, wiring, and overall workmanship.
- Perform THT and SMD soldering, rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, test results, and measurement equipment.
- Use oscilloscopes, mustimeters, power supplies, signal generators, and other laboratory equipment for functional verification and fault isolation.
- Support electrical safety testing and system-level verification.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) when required.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, assembly technicians, system engineers and project managers to resolve identified issues.
- Maintain test equipment, fixtures, tools, and workstations and follow ESD, electrical safety, and quality procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test procedures, quality processes, and test automation.
